Answers:
go to your local social service agency to see if your financial situation qualifies under the federal medicaid program!. you can also find info' direct from washington offices, by phone look in the phone book under govt!. federal!. also inet search it works!. sometimes a co-pay may be required!. it's still the cheapest health insurance for someone your age!. for many it's free !!! check it out!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Maybe try a Public Health Center where doctors offer their services for Free , your local public library may have some info as to where they're located and what days they're open!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Better yet, most "community" hospitals have "clinics" that work like an urgent care!. If you want an actual health plan I found Kaiser to be the most affordable!. Also, if your parent(s) have health insurance they usually can cover you until age 25 or until you graduate, whichever comes first!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I just found this out!. Go to your student finance office and ask them for their health insurance brochure!. Every full time student gets health insurance for a little bit of money!. It costs $22!.50 per semester at my school !.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I don't know your age (ins!. gets more expensive the older you are!.)

Kaiser includes a lot of things that are automatically covered where as most do not!.

Clinics are cheap but few are free!. The quality of health care varies of course!. I would check out one of them!. By far the cheapest thing to do!. (you pay according to ability to pay!.) It's pretty much like only having to deal with a co-pay and not the monthly dues which are a bummer!.

If you go for an ins!. policy they might deny you or charge you more if you have a pre-existing condition (which you do!.) You'll have to pretend you are healthy if you go for one of them!.

I suggest the clinic or public health organizations!. You may have to wait 3 hours but in the long run you only pay for them when you need them!.

Some of my friends pay $400!.00 or so a month and that's just the monthly fee!. If they see a Doc!. it's about $30!.00 co-pay and about $15!.00 co-pay for each of their generic meds!.

I pay about $225!.00 per mo!. but have a huge deductible $2,500!.00 per year then they will pay 70% of the expenses after that that they deem acceptable!. Health care is out of sight!. It makes me SICK !

Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you are healthy it is pretty easy to find an affordable student health insurance plan from a trusted company for about $50 to $75 a month!.

The key is to compare rate quotes from at least 3 different companies to find the best deal!.
