Question: What is scar tissue on the tendon!?!? plz help!?!?
i am seeing a speacialist about my knee and i am limping he keeps telling me not to because i will get a build up of scar tissue but i dont know what the hell it is plz can someone help!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

This tissue is not as healthy or productive as healthy tissue but it serves as a barrier and thus forms a scar!. However it is highly fibrous and thus thicker than surrounding tissue and has limited blood supply!. It is limited in function and so restricts movement and circulation!. If you limp scar tissue builds because it feels the need to help!.!.!. this is bad because scar tissue that forms on your tendon might connect to your skin!.!.!.this means you will lter need surgery to disconnect it!. I understand the pain might be so severe you have to limp but try not to do it so much because the scar tissue can form!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
