When you want to get ready for bed pour yourself a big glass of milk (hot is better, but cold works too) then have a hot relaxing bath, drink the milk when you go to bed and make sure the room is not too hot!.

They say the ideal sleeping environment is when the room is slightly cool and you are slightly warm under the covers!. Make sure the room is very dark and try not to talk on your cellphone or watch TV before bed, as this will make your brain alert again!.

If you can't sleep after that, try reading a book or take a herbal supplement for sleeplessness!. You can go to any herbal store and ask them what they suggest, these are not addictive and don't have side-effects!. The worst you can do is lie there and toss and turn, rather get up, have another glass of milk (which naturally produces the chemicals which make you sleepy) or read that book!.!.

Good luck!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

they are right pills are addictive so don't even try them, what you should try when you are having trouble sleeping is get a good book that you like and read, before you know it you'll start getting very sleepy it works wonders for me! good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Sleeping pills are not addictive!.!.!. Try ambien its non habit forming!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

well, depending on how much sleep u do get, holidays like christmas break or spring break might also mess up your sleep schedule because u stay awake a lot!. the best to fall asleep without pills i'd say is just stay active enough so that you get tired, other than just sitting watching t!.v!. it is mainly because of school that you get up early therefore wake up tired and is able to sleep early!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Try Benadryl!. It is an antihistamine with a very high sedative effect!. You don't need a prescription, and you don't need to buy the brand name (which, of course, is Benadryl)!. Most drugstore chains sell the generic form which is just as effective!. Make sure you buy Benadryl (diphenhydramine hydrochloride 25mgs) with no other active drug(s) mixed in!. This drug is not addictive!.
The usual dosage is 2 tablets, or 50 mgs!. I recommend you try only one tablet the first time to make sure you don't have any adverse reactions!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is really hard to change sleeping patterns if you've been in one a while!. Try getting lots of exercise during the day so you're tired come the time you want to sleep!. Then try having a cup of warm milk just before bed and maybe try putting on some quiet classical music in the background!. The most important thing though is trying to get to sleep at the same time each night and get into a good habit!. Other than that, try and clear your mind and make sure you have everything done for the next day (I find I can't sleep when there's stuff on my mind!.!.!.)
If all else fails, try reading a really boring textbook or doing some maths XD You'll be feeling sleepy in no time at all! Sweet dreams! : )Www@Answer-Health@Com
