Can I stay on disability after surgery.?!
Question: Can I stay on disability after surgery!.!?
I was just put on permanent disability and am considering back surgery next month!. My doc says about a year recovery, will disability try to drop my payments earlier or will they let me be!. Also if surgery doesn't cure me can I stay on disability or will I have to be reevaluated!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I don't know what state your from but NYS only puts you on disability for 26 weeks, after that you should go to an attorney for Social Security Disability for temporary pay as long as you meet the requirements!. Usually back injury on the job or off for that period of time you should be entitled to!. I use to work for an attorney for workers comp and SSD!. Look into it! I hope your feeling better!. first ofmabe re-read yor odsp pakage, yo have to f threw sighining papers and dr stf as yo already know *sorry mykey baord leters dotn work prope right now*,
if yo are pt on per then its perm, bt if yo get back srgery and the dr sayd yo are goo to go back to work then yo wont get odsp ot mles yo can sta on and still work, bt if the srgery dotn work and the dr papers says perm then yo are ok, bt be carfll odsp is nto an easy thing to deal with i knwo iv been goin threw it, bt im in the ottawa area ,dont knwo if yo are or not, im a lifer and i had probloms with it, so if all in dot see a layer abot it if need be
and im not sire how mch yo knwo abot odsp, bt if yor in the states it may work difrent
