Answers:
I haven't seen any scientific backing for this, I think it is purely
anecdotal!.

In an article from

http://www!.earthclinic!.com/Remedies/show!.!.!. the following benefits of cold water were noted

* Brings blood to the capillaries, therefore increasing circulation throughout the body!.
* Cleans the circulatory system!.
* Reduces blood pressure on internal organs!.
* Provides flushing for the organs and provides a new supply of blood!.
* Strengthens the parasympathetic and sympathetic nervous systems!.
* Contracts the muscles to eliminate toxins and poisonous wastes!.
* Strengthens the mucous membranes, which help resist hay fever, allergies, colds, coughs!.

I think the reduce pressure on internal organs and increased circulation throughout the body causing less concentration
in the extremities, but again no scientific backing!.

Hope that helps!.!.!.^_^Www@Answer-Health@Com

get rid of that sexual urge in a flash, lolWww@Answer-Health@Com

The reason why the male reproduction part gets aroused is due to a rush of blood to that part! What makes the blood rush, excitement, arousal, Viagra! Therefore cold showers are good if you are feeling hot, like in hot weather, because they cool the blood!. So if you are in a excited stage and jump into a cold shower, the blood that rushed, will withdraw to find a warmer area inside the body and the reproduction part wilts, for want of a better word!.
