Question: Infected toenail question!?!?
alright ive asked other questions about my toenail but long story short I cut it too short and it got infected!. It was gross, swelled, red and pussy!. Now it just itches real bad BUT if u press on the top of my nail it hurts at the same time it itches!. I dont know whats wrong!. Is it healing!?!? its no longer pussy or anything just my toe on the side is white i think thats cause ive had a bandaid on it for like a week!. Other then that its fine I use proxide & neosporin at least 2x a day!. Is it healing on its own!?
Im 25 weeks preg and I go to the doc this coming fri and im gonna show him and see if theres something he can give me cuase I DONT wanna have surgery or whatever!. I just want it to heal on its own!. Thanks any info helpsWww@Answer-Health@Com

You are a smart young lady! You have a doctors' appointment this week and you say you're going to show him what your problem is!. That's good!. Because you are pregnant your body could be doing 1,000,000,000 different things and nothing seems to help!. Let your doctor know you want it to heal NATURALLY!. If he prescribes you medicine, ask him how it will affect YOUR baby!. If you trust him!.!.!.take the medicine!.!.!.!.!.!.If you don't!.!.!.!.!.soak your foot in Epsom Salt(it;'s natural) and keep a close eye on it for any infection!. Try to trust your doctor!.!.!.!.!.!.!.but most of all trust your instinct!.!

you can get referred to a foot doctor and he'll just snip it off!. ive had my ingrown toenails removed, its not really surgery!. i went to a foot doc, told him my problem, and he did it right there!. they just give you some numbing shots then do their thing!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
My daughter has just had ingrowing toenail treated!.!. was snipped and filed and we had to soak salt water few evenings!.
The podiatrist said that hormones make feet sweatier and that also induces softer nail beds hence toenails are more likely - if prone - to ingrow!!

I would apply tea tree oil to the affected nail-it really works as a great antiseptic!. I'd also let it air out w/out a band aid if possibleWww@Answer-Health@Com
