I have to wear ear protection at work but its causing sharp stabbing pains in my!
Question: I have to wear ear protection at work but its causing sharp stabbing pains in my ears what is this!?
I wear internal ear protection (soft ear plugs that mold to the shape of the ear canal) its a new safety measure at work and last night I started getting stabbing pains which have been recurring on and off!. I have had issues wearing headphones which go into the ear in the past is there a cause!? and does anyone know of different ear protection I can wear but still be able to hear what people are saying to me!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i had the same problem!. the ear protection was expanding too much so it was putting pressure within my ear!. there are other alternatives!. they are some which are the small yellow ear plugs attached to a blue plastic band!. these don't mould and they don't go in as far but they still give you protection and allowing you to hear what people say!. they helped me!. there are also other moulding ones (orange in colour) these may smaller than the ones you have been issued at work!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
maybe putting them in too far!. there is an earmuff style that i wear at work!. the are actually better at deflecting noise!. can be worn by themselves or with a hard hat!. check them outWww@Answer-Health@Com
