Question: Is it possible to be poisoned by strawberries!?

Absolutely!. We had a family member who was hospitalized after eating contaminated strawberries!. Really bad food poisoning!. Apparently, someone had relieved themselves out in the fields and it damn near killed my aunt!. Some people can have true allergy to strawberries!. Symptoms-could include violent diarrhea and/or vomiting, a rash!. If it's an allergy, the throat could close up and a rash would appear quickly!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

yeah sure it could have fecal matter on it from the fertilzer if not washed properly, The USA stopped buying Mexican Strawberries because it was such a huge problemWww@Answer-Health@Com

I don't think you could get poisoned by a strawberry but quite a few people have allergies to strawberries, especially babies & sometimes depending on the individuals allergy, it can appear similar symptoms to food poisoning, which you vary to upset/sore stomach, headaches, dizziness, rash, vomiting or just generally feeling unwell!. Sometimes if fruit is not washed properly it can make some people unwell!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Any time you are allergic to something it is like a poison to your system!. I am allergic to strawberries!. If I eat them I start out with a rash that turns to hives!. My Granny was allergic to them also!. She started out having hives and then got sick (like the flu)!. If I eat them, the hives keep spreading until I have to go to the Dr!. for a shot to stop the hives from spreading!. Granny would get better without a shot because she would vomit the allergin up!. If you are allergic to them you can have any kind of reaction to them, not everyone has the same reaction!. So in a way it is a poison to your system but usually/unless you eat too many you will just have a reaction similar to mine or my granny's and since you only eat the berry that is the only part of it you could be allergic to!.
