Would anyone know what is causing severe pain in upper thigh?!

Question: Would anyone know what is causing severe pain in upper thigh!?
I am really reluctant to go to the doctor as I have been quite a lot recently! But if I have to again, I will, unless I find some answer on here!.

For several years I have experienced a sharp pain in, mainly my left upper thigh, which stops me from walking! I also have the same kind of pain in my right hand, where I cannot hold anything tight!.

I do not have any stiffness in these places, just accute agony when I make a movement; then limping afterwards!.

What could it be!? Should I go to the doctor or just put up with it!? Does anyone experience the same symptoms!?

Serious answers would be appreciated as it costs me money to go to the doctor and I live in France!.

Please help, if possible!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
It sounds as if it is to do with nerve pathways!. Have you tried anti inflammatories, either chemical or natural!? It may not cure, but it may help you mobilise, as the last thing you want to do is stop any excercise and end up stiff because of that!. I am not a doctor, but do not be scaremongered by the cancer freaks!. It will not be cancer! I'm sure it can be resolved with the correct management!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Im not a doctor but that sounds like you may have a certain kind of cancer!. Definately go to the doctor or speacialist!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

it could be a pinched nerve perhaps!.!.!. which could essentially be serious!.!.!. they don't have universal healthcare in france!? Or are you no a citizen!? Even worse than a pinched nerve it could be a deteriorative nerve disorder! Or perhaps stage3 Syphilis!. Or a brain tumor! So you should just go to the doctor!.!.!. and not rely on crazy people on yahoo to diagnose your ailments!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

May be something very simple like a bad cramp spasm in a muscle which can be pretty excruciating!. Possibly due to low calcium intake!. Could be your sciatic nerve - check out "sciatica"!.
There is an "on-line doctor" - try asking Google!.
If it is expensive to visit your doc, does your surgery have the equivalent of a Nurse Practitioner or could you seek the advice of a pharmacist!?
Edit! Just found it!!

This is odds on a a nerve problem, you don't say how old you are which could give clues as to the cause!. Probably nothing too dire!. Please take no notice of the people who have mentioned cancer and syphilis and don't know why anyone would put that!. To get a diagnosis/solution you really do need to see a Dr!. Sorry if it is too expensive!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
