Why do we all feel like no professionals believe us??!! Its just not right.?!
Question: Why do we all feel like no professionals believe us!?!?!! Its just not right!.!?
You know what, I often come on here and try to help others by giving advice and also asking some stuff too!. I have had a bad back since I was 14 (Im 27 now), disc prolapse, DDD in two other discs and sciatica!.
HOW COME WE ALL FEEL THAT WHEN WE GO TO THE DOCTOR THEY THINK THAT WE ARE EITHER EXAGGERATING OUR PAIN OR IMAGINING IT!?
It is so frustrating and depressing!. I feel helpless sometimes as there is no where to turn!. I am so tired of it!. At the end of the day, why would we lie about pain and waste our time at the doctors when we could be living our lives!?
I used to think it was just me, feeling stupid and frustrated leaving the orthopaedic/neurosurgeon or GP, but you know what, it isnt - its nearly all of us!!!

Applied Psychology! I have never seen my GP and cried due to pain, no matter how much pain I was in!. I have seen him and said 'I have a pain in my elbow' and then he just had to examine it and cause me more pain!. However, he prescribed drugs!. I went for two years with sudden acute onset lower right abdominal pain, went through kidney stones to STD every test!. Everything below my diaphragm was normal! Therefore I paid, I have free medical care, for a Private MRI, returned to my GP for the results and he stuck a Fentanyl Pain Patch on me! I have never had ANY problem with Doctors believing me, but then I have Rheumatoid Arthritis!. However no one ever told me the Discs in the spine can prolapse, so that was a 'guess' on my side, but I was proved right!. If you have the medical tests: X-Ray, Ultrasound, CT Scan, MRI Nerve Conduct Test that reveals you have a health condition that warrants pain drugs, you should have no problem!.
