i suffer from all your symptoms regularly

to the point that i had my tonsils removed a few years ago - it made no difference whatsoever - i just keep going back to the quacks for yet more antibiotics!.

strangely enough - i have been unemployed for the past year and have had very few attacks - none needing medical attention - [could it be stress!?]

good luck

Try a new doctor, second opinions are very helpful!. Or go to a specialist!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i havnt been in that situation but my mother has and she died a couple of years later!.!.!.!. not saying you will now but id advise you to go to the hospital if you dont trust the doc its the only way to be sure and youl feel alot better getting a second opinion anyway even if it turns out he's rightWww@Answer-Health@Com

Personally I would get a referral to an Ear, Nose and Throat Specialist to get a second opinion!. They are experts in that area and will be able to determine whether the scratched throat is also effecting your breathing and the headache!.

It is not uncommon to have an ear ache with a sore throat as they are all connected in an odd sort of way!.

Have you tried any over the counter medications for you throat!? I would suggest something like Chloraseptic Spray or lozenges (or generic) as they numb the throat and help a lot!. Also keep your throat moist by sucking on hard candies and drinking either warm tea or sucking on popsicles which ever feels better as that can help the pain as well!.

Tylenol, Advil or Ibuprofen may help with the headache and a bit with the sore throat!.

Good luck and feel better soon!
