Concussions?!!?!
Question: Concussions!?!!!?
My friend got hurt by a horse (i am not sure what happened but i think she was either kicked or fell of the horse (she would have had a helment on!))!. How long do you think she will be gone from school!?! She is in seventh grade!. I know there are three different kinds (maybe more!) of concussions but can you give me an average amount of days or about how many days for each kind!!!? Thanks!Www@Answer-Health@Com

If it was minor, they say it could take a week to regain physical activity!. But, school being only mentally challenging, she should be back in a few short days!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Check a medical encyclopedia (there are free ones on the Web)!. From personal experience, if she has been unconscious for more than a couple of days, it can be very difficult to say when she'll come out of it!. If you can, go visit her in the hospital and talk to her!. Some people can hear conversations even when in a coma!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
A concussion would depend upon lots of things!.
It is nice that you have such a need to know!. but the best bet would be is a phone call to your friends family!. I bet they would give you a clue!. When she comes home, she may need a little help with homework!.!.!. that's what friends do!.!.!.

there is a mild concussion a moderate concussion and a sever concussion!. the doctors usually tell the patient to stay out of the sport depending on the degree of the concussion!. if it was sever she could be out of the sport for a year!. if moderate or mild it could be three to five monthsWww@Answer-Health@Com
