The area where the sting was is still swollen!. Am I allergic!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
It's unlikely that you are anything more than mildly sensitive to bee stings, like most of us!. Expect the swelling and itching to last for about three days!. If you're not allergic to benadryl, you can take a couple (2) to ease the itch, or apply benadryl cream directly to the sting and an ice pack for the swelling!. Remember to read the package, it can make you pretty sleepy!.

Be aware, though, that to be allergic to something, you must be exposed to it at least once, so be very alert the next time you are stung!. If it's no worse than this time around, you're probably safe!. I always carry benadryl with me in case of exposure to things like poison oak, ivy or unfamiliar foods!.

Also, for your current bee sting, you can make a paste of baking soda and water and apply it - it's really soothing!. Hope it feels better soon!Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you did not have cardiac or respiratory symptoms when you got stung, you are no more allergic than the rest of us!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well everyone is allergic to bee stings which is why the area always swells up!. You may be slightly more allergic than the average person!. Just take some antihistamine to stop the reaction and you should be fine!. You can even use Benadryl cream if you have some!.

I get the same way the area swells up and then becomes extremely itchy!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
