Answers:
I've had RSD for 15 years, I understand the pain you're in!.
It sounds like your mother is trying to get you to comply with the doctors orders!. If you are not taking your meds, if this is what your mother is trying to convince you to do, you need to explain to her why you don't want to take them!. How long did you take them before giving up!? Sometimes a medicine will make you feel ill for a week or two and you need to put up with it until you get used to them and then the side effects go away!.
I just don't know enough to even guess at what's going on but I've always tried to see both sides of every story, it's just the way my mind works!. It's not that I'm "on her side"!.
If your primary concern at this time is getting your prescriptions changed and you can do that over the phone then go ahead and do it!.
I don't know if you're due for your 3 month visit but if you are your doctor is not going to prescribe new meds without seeing you so they'll be handling this with your mother insisting she make an appointment!.
If you aren't due to go in yet your doctor may have told your mother under what circumstances to bring you in and it's just not time!.
I know that the instinct when you're in pain is to go to the doctor so they can fix it but in the case of RSD there is only so much the doctor can do!. There is no medicine that will make the pain go away or cure the RSD!.
If the RSD is progressed enough that they know you will have it for the rest of your life it would be a great idea to join an RSD support group or if one is not available in your area, a chronic pain support group!. Get your mother to go with you at least some of the time and she will learn more how to relate to what you're going through and by you going you will get help in learning to deal with this pain!.

If you have a father, or contact with your father, get him involved!. If you are desperate talk to your school counselor about it, but they may get family services involved!. Otherwise you need to have a serious talk with your mother!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I know quite a bit about RSD, as my brother-in-law has it!.

If you aren't going to do what the doctor tells you, then why go see him!? If you just want your meds changed and it can be done over the phone then do it!.

That said, if she is refusing to provide you with required medical care, that is considered neglect and you can call the police for assistance!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
