I don't really have an answer for you, but back in August 2007, I hurt my thumb by holding my nose while jumping in the river off a rock about 20-25 feet above the water!. I've had a considerable amount of pain everyday!. On a scale of 1-10 mine was a 8!.I either had a hair line fracture or damaged the tendon!. My boss who is a certified physical therapist told me if it was fractured it would only take about 6 weeks to heal!. Well it didn't!. It is now April 2008, eight months later and I realized just the other day that I have no more pain!. don't know what happened, just got better!. Hope you don't end up with permanent nerve damage!. Maybe surgery will be the answer to your situation!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

A "pinched" nerve is a pretty archaic term for a nerve impingment (but still may be used sometimes when talking to the general public)!. Was the adjustment done by a real chiropractor!?
If they helped with the pain the adjustments have worked, but it may take longer for the nerve to become active again!. Get some maintenance adjustments until it comes back (every two to four weeks usually)!.
Best luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
