Where can I go to get help for a hearing problem?!

After getting a minor cold, I noticed that my hearing was malfunctioning!.I started hearing less and from time to time it just kept getting worse!. At times when i speak i would hear bubbles in ear and little crackling noices!. Its been a month and I no longer hear these things but I still cant hear right!.Ive tried ear wax removal stuff and they seem to work for a few hours only but then following day I get small pains like in my ear drum and as the day go by they go away!. Ive contactec an audioligist but they can only tell me if im gonna loose my hearing and cant seem to tell me what can be done!.Is there any other place I can go to seek help!? or any remedies that would help!? as of now my ear doesnt hurt but i do have trouble hearing things!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
