Here is one method!.

Before you go to bed, take all your troubles and put them in the bathtub (or shower or sink)!. Tell God that He can have them, and anything He doesn't take, you'll come back for in the morning!.

Mostly, it was troubling things that kept me awake!. Take care of the troubles as best as you can and realize that you can do no more!. Realize that thinking about it only keeps you awake, which increases your troubles more by lack of sleep!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

get cold!.!.!. like turn on fan open window ect!. Then get alll snuggled up in ya dony and pretend u r a baby!.!.!. lol i do it!. it works and think of dreams !. Such as you driving a nice car infront of your freinds!.!.!. LOL IT WORKS!Www@Answer-Health@Com

stay off the computer for several hours before bed!. if i go on it,it makes my mind race and i only get like 2 hours of sleep!. also, i watch tv on a super low volume an fall asleep when i am desperate!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I find it helpful to make Alphabet lists in my head!. Get a category--like dog breeds, fruits and veggies, or one-word movie titles!. Then think of something for each letter!.
Example, movie titles, Armageddon, Babe, Carrie, etc!.

I find that when I get to a harder letter, as my brain searches for the answer, I drift off!.
