Hurts to breathe; Chest hurts every once in a while?!

Question: Hurts to breathe; Chest hurts every once in a while!?
Well I barely got this pain this morning and it hasn't gone away and it's already almost late afternoon!.

It started with a hiccup in the morning!. I felt like it was coming up!. My body was ready to do it and then there was no hiccup!. But I could still feel the pain like if you had a hard hiccup and now every once in a while when I take a deep breath or just a normal breath (every once in a while) and it starts hurting like there is some little ball or something!.

The pain is like the middle of my chest (Like right where my breast bone ends)!.

What is wrong with me!? Should I get it checked out or will it go on it's own or!.!.!.!?

And I do believe it was because of that hiccup because the pain started RIGHT after that!.

Please help, and many thanks!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes you probably pulled a muscle, don't panic, but see a doctor when you can, or see one sooner if your symptoms worsen!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Look up costocondritis!. My daughter had it!. It is basically inflammation of your cartalildge and could have been brought on by the hiccups!. Take Motrin or Aleive!. Can get quite painful and feel like a heart attack but isn't!. Not much they can do!.!.!.!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I've had a lot of pain in that area--right where the breatbone ends!. I thought I had gallbladder problems, because that's where people say the pain is when you have issues with that!. Anyway, went to the doctor, got tested!. Gallbladder was fine!. Instead, they told me to start taking heartburn medicine!. I did, even though I didn't have the typical heartburn symptoms!. After about a week, the pain went away!. As long as I keep up on the heartburn medicine (like Pepcid, or Prilosac) I've had no problem!. You said you had a hiccup sensation that didn't actually happen!. That sounds like something that happens with heartburn!. I hope you try this!. Your symptoms sound so close to what mine were!. Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

might be a CHEST INFECTION go an double check to be on the safe side good luck =D !!!!!!!!!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

It could be from twisting when you hiccuped!. So, you could have dislocated a vertebrae causing the pressure on your lungs which is causing the pain!. You most likely need a chiropractor to adjust it back to where it belongs!. You may need more than one adjustment!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i had some what of the sameproblem, but i found out it was acid reflux!.!.try taking tums or rolaids and if that dont help or if your pain i sreally bad then you need to go to the er!.!.!.GODBLESSWww@Answer-Health@Com

Have you had any injuries to the chest!? If you did or you might have and no known!. It could be costochondritis which is inflammation of one or more of the costal cartilages!. Advil or APO Naproxin which will help the the inflammation!. If it doesn't get better please see a doctor!.

P!.S!. Naproxin can only be prescribed by a doctorWww@Answer-Health@Com
