Have you ever lost someone you really care about due to Drugs/CRACK?!

hey I can honestly say I have lost a few friends to this disease, and myself too!.!. i was a user for 21/2 years, my husband for 10 years!. I started about a year after we fot together with him!. i thought if you can't beat them join them type of deal, without knowing the actual effects it has on you and the addiction!. I have been clean for 6 months now but it is a fight everyday so I can't imagine how people stay clean forever!. It is so hard that I am sure that the percentage of people that stop use again within 3months!. It is a horrible thing and it is taking over the nation!. It needs to be recognized in a different way for people to understand it and learn how to stop it before it takes everyone!. If you have lost them, never give up on trying to get them to stop!. they can't help it if they don't but to know that someone beleives in them in the best feeling and it helps them to want to stop I know that much!.

my best friend became addicted to crack!.!.!. i thought i had lost him forever!.!. he was in another world for a long time!.!.!. But, thank God, this year---> something made him sober up and quit!.!.!. i guess everyone was praying for him!.!.!.cause that is a hard thing to get off of!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
