Question: Naval piercing!?
I got my naval pierced a few months back and its still all red at the top and it still oozes pus!.!.!.its horrible and it hurts!. I clean it with saline solution but its rubbish!.!.!.what else can i use!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have used saline solution for all of my piercings (Ears, nose, lips, tongue, naval and more) and never had a problem, you may have an infection that is a little more robust, so ask the doctor for antibiotics if bathing it at least twice a day isn't working, also clothes and belts can irritate it as it is a piercing that is very susceptible to infection!.
Also, DO NOT take it out while it is infected, you need to rid yourself of the infection before you consider that option!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Smother it with an antiseptic cream and try to wear loose clothes!.!. mine took a very long time to heal too, but it did!.xWww@Answer-Health@Com
Go to the doctors, they can prescribe antibiotic ointment!. It happened to mine, cleared up really quicklyWww@Answer-Health@Com

Antiseptic, I suppose!. Plenty of sprays around, mainly for First Aid use!.

When I had mine it took about a year to heal completely and was very prone to infection due to the constant irritation/rubbing from clothing!.
Your best bet is to wear pants that don't rub on it & clean it with an antibacterial soap such as Dial in the morning when you get up & before you go to bed!. I used to just put a little on a q tip, swab it then rinse it off!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You need to soak it in the soultion & rotate the jewelry!. You can do salt soaks but its really the same thing!.
You can use bactine occassionally, not daily!. It'll kill bacteria, the good ones & bad ones!.
I think your piercing is infected, if the pus is green then it's infected!. If it's clear, your navel is trying to heal it, or your piercing might be migrating!.

Try pouring Hydration Peroxide on it!. It will foam if infected, that's what it's supposed to do!. Clean it four times a day if you can!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
mine was yukky 4 months 2 keep bathing with salt water and apply savlon cream lots of it ,, so it gets under the belly bar in to the actual piercing thats what eventually cleared mine up!. dont take it out now or you will have to go through it all again,,Www@Answer-Health@Com
Take it out!. I had the same problem with a facial piercing when i was younger!. In the end nothing worked (I even tried taking antibiotics from the doctor)!. It ended up leaving a nasty scar on my face!. It turned out that it had been badly pierced and so would never heal and kept getting infected!.
You could always try using surgical spirit, or something with antiseptic in it like germolene!.!.!.but if nothing helps then take it out before you regret it!Www@Answer-Health@Com
