Always sleepy?!


Question: Always sleepy!?
Well my problem is that, around 7!.30 if i'm lucky 8!. i have this sudden lack of energy, it's horrid i struggle to even get up the stairs, keeping my eyes open is soo difficult!. But the thing is i'm 15, i get atleast 8-9 hours sleep, i just don't know why, i mean my mum reckons it's because i'm a veggie, but i've beena veggie for nearly a year, and this has been a thing thats happend since november, any idea why i'm soo sleepy!?

Your mom could be right but also you sound like a growing girl, Try to get active after school, It could be your thyroid if you are gaining weight!. Maybe your anemic low iron can cause you to be tired and cold all the time!. There are so many reasons talk to your doctor or go to its is very helpful!. I am only 20 and i have the same problems but i am just not a morning person plus being anemic and having a thyroid condion does help hope that helpsWww@Answer-Health@Com

go to the doctor to see if you have low iron in your blood!. That could be a reason for lack of energy espec as you don't eat meat!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

being a veggie could be the main reason, if i was you i would make a visit to your GP just to be safe!. Or it could be the side effects of medication if you are taking anything!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You are winding down for the day and after dinner you tend to get sleepy!. Try going for a walk at seven, just before the sleepies, and it will revive you for a while, and you get your excercise!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Maybe you should go and get a blood test!. You could be low in iron or some other essential nutrient!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

hi there, what is more important is your mind set!. Actually it is our decision to wake up early or not!. but it will be habbit when you are always wake up late!. try to have a good sleep!. Being always wake up during your sleep time are make you feel sleepy on the day time and also difficult to open your eye's!. Duration of your sleep is not show that you have a good sleep!.

you also have to drink plain water because had some research said that you are feel sleepy because you had not enough oxygen and also mind set have to be change!.

try to make your life so lively and more interesting to encourage you wake up early!.

As others have already recommended, you really need to see your GP as you need professional advice!. During our teenage years all sorts of changes are taking place in our bodies and teenagers need a good balanced diet and regular sleep!. You're certainly getting the sleep, but I'm wondering if your diet is giving you all the nutrients you need!. You may well have been OK over the past year, but perhaps it's now that your body is undergoing more changes than it was say 6 months ago!. Another cause of chronic fatigue is depression; perhaps there's something going on in your life that's causing a lot of anxiety!. Do go to the doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have the same problem! im also 15 and im falling asleep as soon as i get alot of home from school! i do get quite alot of sleep but still seem to be sleepy quite alot!. i think its just hormonal or just lack of energy from my day at school!. probly the same with you!. probly nothing to worry about :DWww@Answer-Health@Com
