Baby's toenail is about to come off?!
Question: Baby's toenail is about to come off!?
OK well I don't need any smartA** answers to this question!. I know it's not life threatening or gonna kill him or anything!. My daughter shut the door on my 1 year old son's toe!. The nail is now lifting and I know it will fall off soon!. I cannot put a bandaid on it because he will take it right back off!. What can I do to take care of it!? Is there anything I can do to keep infection out of it!? Will it hurt him when it falls off if he bumps it!? I don't know these things because I've never dealt with this before!. AWWW poor little guy :o( Will he keep socks on!? Maybe you could clean it up then put a band aid on and socks over it!. I would also cut off as much of the lifted part as you can!. That way it won't get caught on something and rip it off!. That would hurt!. Good luck and I hope he's feeling better soon!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well if it's about to fall off, just pull it off!. It should grow back in a few months!. Perhaps you could put a bandaid on him, then some socks or booties!. Or put him in feet PJ's so that he can't get to it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
