Ramelteon (Rozerem) is a melatonin receptor agonist!. Melatonin is a naturally occurring hormone that is released by a gland in your brain in response to darkness!. You'd save money by just buying Melatonin at your local pharmacy, unless you have great health insurance!.
Rozerem does basically the same thing as melatonin!. It doesn't work for all people, but one big plus is that it does not cause dependence like other sleeping medications!.
