i know!.!.!.you think, "hey, i quit smoking!. I should be feeling WELL, not SICK", right!?!?
Your body goes through an adjustment phase and your lungs are healing and clearing out all the crud!. Also, believe it or not!.!.!.sometimes when you smoke, the smoke can kill some bacteria in your throat!. Tis true!. BUT that does NOT mean you should continue to smoke!. Like I said, your body is gong through a major adjustment and it will right itself very soon!. You have done yourself a huge favor by quitting!. I am very proud of you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You will encounter some nicotine withdrawal symptoms, such as headaches, dizziness, craving, depressions, palpitations,!.!.!.etc!. BUT the benefits of quitting smoking WILL outweight those nicotine withdrawal symptoms!. Good luck!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

hello fellow ex smoker!.
my friend you have taken the right decision to STOP SMOKING!.
had i listened to my family and given up smoking in time i wouldn't have had to undergo a major surgery for teflon graft for the major arteries of both my legs at the age of 59!.i had a choice to stop smoking ,have the graft or lose both my legs!.so if you feel sick -take doctors advice to overcome nausea which one gets for nicotine withdrawal!.
so my friend read articles on arteriosclerosis in google !.com and let your fellow smoker friends read the same and give up this deadly habit!.
best of luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The reason for this is that the body is having to get used to coping without the nicotine gained through smoking!. This will effect you for some time depending on how heavily you used to smoke!. However I would suggest visiting you local GP/Doctor for their guidance in relation to this!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Without knowing what type of sickness you are having, it's tough to say!. Your lungs and respiratory system have to readjust to not having the smoke and chemicals anymore, which can cause problems!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i am a smoker but i will say the feeling will pass and great job keep going well done hope you feel better soonWww@Answer-Health@Com

Yes it does happen even though a lot of Doctors etc deny it and will tell you you're imagining it!.
I quit smoking for 2 years and was ill almost constantly, it seemed as soon as I got over one thing I came down with something else!.
Sorry to say that I ended up smoking again after all that so I can't even tell you how long it would have gone on for if I'd let it run it's course!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
