Question: How does my foot or hand fall asleep!? And how come when i shake it and wake it up it starts to hurt!?
I hate it when i wake up in the morning or notice in the afternoon that my foot or hand has fell asleep!. when i shake it and move it around, it starts to hurt really bad and my hand-or-foot feels shaky!. plz respond!. i thank you all who respond to my questions! :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Your foot or hand or whatever falls asleep because there was some pressure on it!. The pressure stops the nerves in the limb from communicating with your brain--they get too squished for any information to pass thru!. When you release the pressure, the nerves have to decompress!. The weakness is because all the sensation isn't back yet--you aren't feeling everything properly still!. The painful feeling is them starting to wake up again--the nerve lines from your leg to your brain are opening back up!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
