Which bike is best post ACL reconstruction? Recumbent or Stationary?!
Question: Which bike is best post ACL reconstruction!? Recumbent or Stationary!?
I am scheduled to have ACL surgery next week!. I have been very active in kick-boxing, weight lifting, and tennis!. Since my injury I have had to modify my active lifestyle!. I am hoping to bounce back quickly working with physical therapy after surgery but I am wanting to purchase a bike for after surgery!. I know I can't use it until I get the go ahead from my doc, but I want to buy it now and be prepared!. Is it better to use a recumbent bike or a stationary bike post ACL surgery!? Any advice from personal trainers or someone who has had ACL reconstruction would be great!. Also, I will be using my hamstring for the graft!. Thanks!Www@Answer-Health@Com

since u were active before ur injury u should be fine with the regular stationary bike!.!.!. although either bike would produce the same effect!.!.!.!.

Stationary bikes are preferred following ACL reconstruction!. They are more functional, and put less strain on the graft!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
