Question: How long will it take for my swelling/black eye to go down!? please help me!!!?
okay, i got punched in the face two nights ago!.!. it wasn't my fault, just a random assult!. anyway, i got stitches above my eye, but also my nose is swolen and im starting to bruise and get a black eye!. around about how long will this take to go away!?

Ice it off and on throughout the day!. If you have no allergies to painkillers you can take ibuprofen for the pain, and that will help a tiny bit with the swelling as well!. Aside from that, only rest and time will help!. Keep an eye on it to make sure it doesn't get infected!. Don't try and use makeup on it, it will likely just irritate it more and not conceal anything!

follow up with your doctor in 2 weeks, do exactly as the doctor ordered (your instructions were given to you in printed form upon discharge), and rest!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
