I hope not, it doesn't look close enough to heal itself, will the skin just come in and together with healing or do I need to go to the hospital!? It's small, but I don't know whether it's a small enough gap to heal itself!.

Unless it is a deep cut it shouldn't!. A split lip usually heals itself without any problems and shouldn't be much of scar if any!. I saw where someone wrote to use a butterfly bandage, DON'T, it will only pull the skin off your lip and you don't need any other areas that would have to heal too!. A butterfly is great for any other type of injury to your skin but not a lip injury!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
doesnt look deep, pretty sure it will just heal on its own!. I have had bigger cuts in my lip then that and they healed just fine!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
