After school, I usually take a 1 and a half hour nap and then do homework until late!. But even if I'm still tired, I can't fall asleep for almost an hour!. Are the naps helpful, or is it just a waste of time!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
The only way that you can tell whether these are naps are making it difficult to get to sleep at night--is by trying to eliminate them!.

Try this for a few days and see if it is easier to get to sleep at night!.

If you are getting sufficient sleep at night, are eating nourishing, well-balanced meals and are getting exercise--then you probably do not need to take a nap!.

Naps, like sleep, are often very restorative!. Young children and older adults usually require a nap late in the day!.

Instead of napping after school--substitute some physical activity!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'm a big fan of cat naps and 1!.5 hours is usually the perfect length since you get through one sleep cycle!. However, if you're not feeling tired, don't try to force yourself to sleep; just do something mellow like reading a book or otherwise relaxing for that time!. It's good to have a defined time to decompress and relax after school or work!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

No, you need to change your schedule!. It may be hard to at first, but you need to keep yourself up through the day and then get to bed earlier!. You will eventually end up sleeping better through the night and feel more refreshed and awake through the day!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Naps are a bad habit:the time you sleep during the day counts double:that is why you cannot sleep at night!.
So better stay awake:besides that:you are not your grandfather are you!?
