Bad sleep after even one drink!!!!!!?!

Question: Bad sleep after even one drink!!!!!!!?
I used to be a heavy drinker in my 20's (now 31)!. In the past year, I have cut way back!. Now it seems that if I have even ONE drink, I am sooooo tired the next day and it sets off insomnis for a few days!. I seem to sleep well, but maybe dream a little more than usual!. Has this happened to anyone else!? BTW, yes, I have stopped drinking altogether, but it is weird, no!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'm now 38 and the same thing happens to me!. The other night after a long day outside, a beer was just what I needed!. I got one out of the fridge and enjoyed every minute of it!. That is until the next morning!. I just didn't feel right!. I think when we remove this "poison" from our lives for a long time, once we reintroduce it our bodies just don't know how to react!. No different than when we were younger, we could recover faster from just about everything from playing sports to staying up late!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, even with one drink, as alcohol is a"sleep fractionator", meaning that it messes with you dream sleep, You actually DON'T dream more, you only think you do, as you keep waking up in the middle of REM (dream) sleep, and don't finish the dream, You wind up short of dream sleep (which is vital to feeling rested) and feel tired the next day!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Try drinking milk or eating rice before going to bed, both contain melatonin, a natural sleeping aid, which help you sleep better!. From http://nosleep!.inWww@Answer-Health@Com
