Can Lyrica help injured nerves heal or is the injury/damage a done deal?!

Question: Can Lyrica help injured nerves heal or is the injury/damage a done deal!?
Needed spinal surgery for a ruptured disk which had caused severe nerve root impingement!. Numbness, bowel and bladder muscle weakness, "charlie horse" sensation in calf and foot, foot drop, all occurring before the surgery was performed!. Still experiencing the above mentioned though the calf and foot are about 50% better!. Will Lyrica help the injuries/nerve issue heal!? It has been four months since the spinal surgery was performed!. Or will I have to deal with these "symptoms" from here on out and continue to take medications!. Presently taking Lyrica and have been able to cut way back on the hydrocodone and Flexeril!. Not sure if this is due to my body healing or from taking the Lyrica!.
Also, occassionally, if I move too quickly or bend or turn too quickly, I get a sensation of being stuck with a live electrical wire in my spine where the surgery had to be performed!. Will this go away!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Lyrica has nothing to do with healing nerves, it helps control your pain level!. There is no medication that heals nerves, that's something scientists are still looking for!. The spinal surgery for ruptured disc was your solution for removing the impingement, now you have a lot of scar tissue in the area which can give you pain as well!.

Are you currently in physical therapy!? Have your doctor make a referral to a physical therapist trained in McKenzie method!. They're not common, here's a list of specialists who are trained in the method!.

You need physical therapy done in a special way to ensure your scar tissue is building in a proper alignment!. Think of scar tissue like a spider web!. The body puts scar tissue in the area to stabilize the region, like a web, it latches onto everything regardless of what it is!. While it does help promote stability, the draw back is that it limits your range of motion, and if it sticks to your nerves, it can bring pain when you move!. So, you need a PT who can help realign the scar tissue!.

Another thing I strongly recommend!. You need proteolytic enzymes!. These are special enzymes that help the body break down any excess foreign protein and other things that don't belong in the body!. That includes excessive scar tissue which you probably have!. You may try this product below: Just make sure you keep the bottle in your refrigerator and also in a sealed bag!. Enzymes are sensitive to heat, light, and oxygen!.

Or you may eat 1 entire fresh pineapple (not canned) or 3-5 papaya per day!. Both have proteolytic enzymes!. Again, enzymes are very delicate, so once you cut open the fruit, it must be eaten right away!.

Take the capsules or continue eating the fruits for at least 3 months!. You should notice some improvement by the 2nd or 3rd week!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
