Charlie horse....?!
Question: Charlie horse!.!.!.!.!?
I have never had a charlie horse before in my life and suddenly this week I have gotten atleast five of them all in my left calf!. Why!? And what can i do to prevent them!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I know your first instinct is to just find of curl into the fetal position, but as soon as you get a charlie horse you should flex your calf by pulling your toes into your leg to loosen out the muscle!. I usually get charlie horses during pre-season for lacrosse when we are doing a lot of running and exercising and I'm not stretching as much as I should, so make sure you keep your calves stretched out and loose!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
It's cramp so caused by lactic acid building up in the muscle!.
All you can do is reduce the exercise you are doing, though taking on more fliud will also help!.
When you get them raise your leg and pull your foot upwards to easy the pain/stiffness!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
