Normal Scar Healing or Nerve Damage?!

Question: Normal Scar Healing or Nerve Damage!?
Ok, so!.!.!. in late December I was working on a flute and cutting a cork but slipped with a razor blade and almost completely cut off part of the top of my middle finger on my left hand!. Here are some pictures (the first one is from the day of the accident):

As of recently (last week or so), I've been occasionally feeling a stinging in the area of the scar but I'm not sure if it's nerves growing back or gaining sensation or something bad!. I'm a righty anyhow but never went to a Dr!. or anything and just kept the wound well-bandaged and Neosporin-ized, etc!. but the pad of my finger isn't flat as the skin sort of overlapped!. I can add more pictures if anyone would like!. Thanks! -SWww@Answer-Health@Com

I believe you are right in saying the nerves are gaining sensation!. The healing looks ok, however if you would have used steri-strips to hold the cut closed better it would've healed quicker and looked a lot better!. But eventually all will be back to normal!. I once cut the same finger with a blade and if it wasn't for my fingernail, would have cut the tip clear off!. I suppose you are feeling a numbness in that area, if not you are lucky!. Mine took a year or so before I got full feeling back in it!. I don't believe the feeling you are having is anything bad!. Looks as if you did a great job taking care of it!. Be patient!. I wish for you the very best and a speedy nerve recovery young lady!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
