Can stress be causing my upset my stomach, or just a stomach virus?!


Question: Can stress be causing my upset my stomach, or just a stomach virus!?
Lately, I have been real tired, under a lot of stress, and body full of aches!. It seems like everything I eat, it feels like it wants to come back up!. Could I have a stomach virus!? Or is it stress!? I have also had gas, and burping alot!. Maybe it is indigestion!. But I took some Rolaids and Pepto-Bismol last night!. What could be the problem!? I feel so sick!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes because I stuffer from stress issues and I have stomach problems, but you need to do what I did though!. Go to your doctor to make sure its stress and not something else!. Your health is one thing your really don't want to chance!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

stress can cause stomach aches, but I think in your case you are sick!. However, if you are under a lot of stress I recommend getting more sleep and meditating (just sit quietly for a couple minutes)!. When you are stressed your body goes into flight or fight mode which is why most people feel really jittery and have butterflies in their stomach!. This body response uses up a lot of energy and can be damaging to your body (and rundown your fight or flight mechanism so it would be fast when you are in a time of danger)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

My advice is to look up information on Acid reflux disease and GERD!. These are fairly common among people that are experiencing prolonged stress and antacids just aren't cutting it!. You may need to go to the doctor to be put on some medicine!. Also small changes in your diet can help with your upset stomach!. Generally steer clear of acidic foods, caffeine, and alcohol (takes all the fun out, huh!) and your stomach should also settle a bit!. Yogurt and bagels work best for me when I get a flair up!.

Stress is actually a more serious problem than most people give it credit for!.!.!. in some extreme cases (and probably people with ill health to begin with) it can lead to death!.

My advice- relax!.!.!. take time for yourself, eat right, exercise, and your health problems should go away!. If they do not, consult a doctor!. Make sure you get plenty of sleep, too!.

hey bugsy - I don't even need too read your message! dude this is what you Have too do! Go too your health food store!! Get you some Alo Vera Gel !! bring it home!. put some in a glass!! If you haven't been sleeping well then there is your answer!. Sleep is the body's time to heal itself!. Stress can cause anything from stomach problems to heart problems, so just try to relax and make sure you get an ample amount of rest!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
