Extream shoulder pain? GP's no help!?!
Question: Extream shoulder pain!? GP's no help!!?
Ive been to three doctors about this, in thelast month i think ive started getting extream shoulder pain lasting for about 2 hours at a time, mostly when i wake up and go to sleep and mid-day!.
First docor said get a steriod injection!. come back again and ill do it!.
Went bk and My doctor said he wont do it as im only 16 and he has never given one to somone so young since it has sideeffects, he said it was inflamed and will go down in a week!.
(one n a half weeks later)
By this time im not getting much sleep as i wake up alot in the night with the pain, even if im not lyin on my shoulder, So i go to a 3rd doctor and he gave me the options of Kimo therapy along with Celebrex capsules, or the injection, with the sideeffects of the enjection i decided against it, one week down the line this pain continues and cocodamol,ibopurfen and celebrex hasent helped at all!.
any ideas what it could be!?much apprishiated!Www@Answer-Health@Com

that sounds like a trapped nerve or frozen shoulder put a ice pack on it and make a appointment with your doctor he might give you a injection to relieve the pain or prescibe some pain killing pills!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I suffer from really bad shoulder pain, I heat a wheat bag in the microwave until I can just about stand the heat and put that on my shoulder or a hot water bottle!.
