I have worked in similar jobs when I was your age and I think I can relate to what you are feeling!. I also have chronic pain in my back and down my leg so I have extensively studied back pain causes and treatment!.

I am not a doctor and if this is serious you should discuss this with a doctor, I am not a professional!. To me it sounds like you have to bend over a lot while you are working which is putting strain on your back between your shoulder blades primarily!. This makes those muscles stiff and painful and to compensate, you don't straighten them out which further puts strain on that area!.

Immediately you can use over the counter anti-inflammatories like aspirin, ibuprofen (motrin) or naproxen (aleve) for the pain and stiffness before, during or after work within the limits on the label of safe daily use!.

Applying moist heat to the area can be beneficial in loosening the muscles; you could use hot packs, heating pads, hot baths for example!. Ice also may help!. You can try both and alternate or use whichever is more effective for you!.

You should try to stretch your back the opposite way frequently if you slouch or bend forward a lot!. One stretch is laying on your stomach like a push-up but with your elbows and fore arms flat on the ground, you then stretch your back gently like a seal as long as this does not cause too much discomfort or pain!. If this is too painful, you should see a physician about this!.

It is important that your muscles stay hydrated and if you are not drinking enough water or other hydrating beverages, this can make muscle strain/stiffness worse!.

If these suggestions are inadequate in addressing the pain then you should not wait too long and talk to a doctor to be safe!. Most people experience periods of back pain at some point in their lives and the vast majority do not last very long!. It is better, however, if you are concerned about it to be safe and see a doctor!.

If you have any other questions, then feel free to email me and ask, I would love to help you out!. There isn't any reason you should stay in pain!Www@Answer-Health@Com
