Today I had a endoscopy and I have a very sore throat!. I want to take this hydrocodone pain killer but its so big I don't know if I can swallow it, can I crush it up into little pieces or dissolve it with water so I can swallow it easier!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes you can cut it or crush it, however I don't recommend dissolving it in water as it won't completely dissolve and some of it will stick to the glass!. I know this from experience!. :-(
What I have done is crush it and put it into pudding or you can put it into applesauce!. (I'm allergic to apples that's why I don't use applesauce) That way you can get the entire amount of the medication!.
When I have been desperate, I have actually let the pill dissolve under my tongue!. However it takes about a half hour and is really bitter!.
So, if you can cut it into pieces and swallow those that's great; otherwise crushing it and putting it into applesauce, pudding, yogurt or something like that would work!.

Hydrocodone is dissolvable in water but that tastes terrible!. Feel free to use a pill cutter and cut it in half!. Or use a pill crusher (sold at pharmacies) and then swallow the pill in a single dose!.
If you do crush the pill feel free to put it in a small piece of toilet paper, then swallow that!. This is easily done, makes the taste a whole lot better, and isn't harmfull at all - its just swallowing a minute piece of paper!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

that will effect how quickly the drug works and it will probably work for less time because it will be broken up all at once, but it will still relieve your pain if you do that and it is safe!.
You could try taking it as a suppository!. By which I mean push it an inch into your anus!. Seriously, it will dissolve there just fine!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

as long as its not time released!.!.!.!.!.if its time released it needs to be taken whole!.!.!.!.!.!.!.if not then you can crush it up, but you probably wanna take it with applesauce, pudding or ice cream!.!.!.!.!.if you dissolve it in water it will probably taste incredibly horrible!.!.!.!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
you can crush it up but it might go down better with something like applesauce!. If you don't crush it well enough, you will get big chunks which won't dissolve well in water!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
