Pain left flank?!

Question: Pain left flank!?
I'm having pain in the left flank area, on the side and slightly towards the front of the torso (but hardly, it's mainly situated on the side!)

I have recently had a kidney infection and during this infection the GP discovered i also had a kidney stone, but this stone is in the pelvic area!. The X -ray didn't show any stones actually inside the left kidney, and my ultrasound couldn't see my left kidney properly to make a judgement!.

What could this be!?!? Is there anything other than kidney problems that are associated with left flank ache!?!? i also have it mildly on the right said too, but its not sore to touch, whereas the left side is sore to the touch!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Kidney stones can cause obstruction to urine flow and predispose you to infection of the kidneys which in turn can give you flank pain!. If not attended to your kidneys could get infected and become quite serious!. Ominous signs would be high fever, nausea or vomiting!. You might be safer seeing your GP for a simple urine test to see if you have a water infection!. Antibiotic treatment would cure this!.
Another poss cause would be muscular pain or spleen problems although this is much higher up!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
