Forget everything that has been suggested to you!. Place your hand into a bowl of cold water with ice in it!. You need to reduce the swelling and numb the area!. Heat will only make things worse! While in the water move the finger as much as possible!. With time the movement will improve and things should be back to normal in about a week!. If the finger is in that much pain the pharmacy has a splint called a frog that fits over the finger!. This will keep the finger from getting jammed or bent in directions that are going to cause pain!. If this is not available to you then take adhesive tape and lightly wrap it to the ring finger so that they will move together!. Do not make the taping tight or stop the finger from bending! Do the ice water bath routine a few times a day and this will speed the process!. Remember not to let the finger get stiff!. If there is not improvement then go to the emergency room and get an x-ray!. It is possible that there is a fracture!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

if you don't wrap it or do anything to help it ,it will take a long time-about 1 month and it will probably only heal about 70%!.You should go to a pharmacie and buy a splint to put on your pinky!.It should take about 1 week to recover about 98% and the rest will only take a few days longer after you remove the splintWww@Answer-Health@Com

apply a lot of heat for the first 48hours then ice it!.

the heat will increase blood flow to the area!.

my pinky finger got really swollen, then it bruised all the way down to my wrist, and then there was this dull pain!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

prob like a week!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
