Anyone else irritated by the 'Flash' adverts?!

Question: Anyone else irritated by the 'Flash' adverts!?
I don't know about you, but I find the recent addition of the large adverts on 'Answers' pages a bit of a pain!. I am going on holiday for 2 weeks so I will catch any answers when I get back!.

My daughter sarcastically suggests that thousands will die on 'Answers' while I am away!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Yes they are very annoying, I just hope we don't get inundated with pop-ups too!.
Have a great holiday, hopefully no one will die in your absence but I suspect a few hundred will waste their money on slimming products!. Keep up the good work, I always find your answers refreshing and informative!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hi

You can stop those annoying Flash adverts by using Firefox, and this addon:
https://addons!.mozilla!.org/en-US/firefox!.!.!.

Basically, for any Flash on a site, it presents a 'play' button- so you can choose to play the content you prefer!.

You can download Firefox at the following link, it is more secure, customisable (as you can see) and will recover tabs after a crash (unlike Internet Explorer):
http://www!.mozilla-europe!.org/en/product!.!.!.

Enjoy the hols :)

Hmm, at least they're not the flashing ones that msn and so many other mainstream websites (facebook etc) see fit to put on their sites to give us all irritation, migraines and fits!. i really think something should be done about them!. internet explorer as the market leader and compatible with most things (unfortunately firefox still struggles a bit) should match their pretender and allow you to block!.
Have a great holiday dr!. Frank!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hi there Dr!. Frank!. You probably haven't noticed but I don't go on Answers any more!. I only noticed your question as I was sent an email to say that you had posted a question!. In the end, I found it childish to the extreme, and the general quality (or lack of it) of the written word totally unacceptable!. I, honestly, don't know what some people are talking about!. As for adverts, as I have not been on these pages for a while, I hadn't noticed them but they would drive me mad as well!.
Have a lovely holiday!. You probably need it!. All the best!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes they're rubbish to say the least, but that regrettably is the Capitalist system!. In order to get rid of advertising, one would have to demolish the entire capitalist system and replace it with a Socialist system!.

BTW - I'm first Secretary, Chief Commissar and First President of this 'new' Socialist Republic!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Use Firefox for browsing, as suggested!.

http://www!.mozilla-europe!.org/en/product!.!.!.

Make sure you install this add-on too:
https://addons!.mozilla!.org/en-US/firefox!.!.!.

Adblock Plus!.

Then you won't even see the adverts on your page, Flash or no Flash!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The ads are awful, but not as awful as the 'how do I looooose 3 stone in a week' type questions that are posted on a daily basis! Love your stock answer to that one!. Have a great holiday and we'll try our best not to die without you ;o)Www@Answer-Health@Com

I do, I do, I do, and the new wide format, i have asked why they changed it and can we change it back!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

hello Dr ! As i was reading your question one ad just popped on my right screen ! But not just on answers but also in my mail box!.!.!.irritating really !Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hi, flickering adverts can trigger epileptic fits so it should come with a health warning!! Write to the editor to get it altered!. Cheers!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
