My arm hurts, why?!

Question: My arm hurts, why!?
I've started working out and I'm really not bothered, but I was more so curious as to what, a couple days after the workout, my left arm seems to hurt to the point of locking into position!?

Day after everything hurts, but it's something I can work through!.

Second day after, nothing hurts, but my left arm seems to be in more pain then it had been, and it's hard to move it!.

Addional info: I am Right handed, not sure what that adds, but could my left arm be playing catch up now!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
are you trying to lift the same amount of weight with your left as you are with your right!? Since you are right handed your right arm already has the advantage of being a bit stronger then your left because you are using your right arm more then the left for lifting, writing etc!.

Do you stretch before and after you work out!? By not stretching you are building lactic acid up in your muscles and causing then to become hypertonic (tense and painful) Make sure you stretch your arms out really well before and after exercising!.

You are experiencing DOMS (delayed onset muscle soarness) due to the build up of lactic acid in your muscles and not stretching or warmiong up properly to release it!.

Also drink lots of water, this will help to flush out the lactic acidWww@Answer-Health@Com
