Pleurisy is an infection of the membrane that is on the outside of the lungs!. There are different kinds of pleurisy, but some of the care is the same!. Keep the head of the bed elevated when you sleep!. Try deep-breathing and coughing every 1-2 hours - hug a pillow when you cough, to decrease the pain!. Your doctor can give you something for pain!.
