Question: Cut my thumb and i think im ok but let me know!?
Last night at work I was washing the pineapple corer and it engaged and the non sharp part that goes through the skin on the sides and seperates it hit my thumb on the knuckle!. It was a deep cut and it bled for a while!. I bandaged it tight at work and put a glove over it for the remainder of my shift!. It stopped bleeding!. When I got home i took the bandaid off and it started bleeding again and I put pressure on it and it stopped again!.( I think I broke the clot) In the shower I rubbed the bar of soap on it and rinsed it with water!. Around the cut it was a little purple!. I then put neosporin in a GENOROUS amount on the cut and put a cotton ball over it and wrapped it heavily with bandaids!. The bleeding has stopped and it is just really sore and hurts when I bump the bandaid!. Is the danger over!? I plan on changing the bandaid tonight after work doing the same thing!. Do I need stitches or am I safe now with no bleeding and soreness!? My finger is REALLY wrapped!. Let me no TYWww@Answer-Health@Com

i would at least have it checked out!. stitched wounds heal faster than big ol nasty cuts!. its gonna hurt like a ***** and could get infected!. go to the doc!. if he thinks it is necessary then go for it!. stitches or staples are the way to go!!Www@Answer-Health@Com
