Answers:
Try a pain reliever which is anti inflammatory and might help bring down the swelling!. Motrin or Aleve, or their generic alternatives!. Tylenol won't do it!. Don't take these if you are taking other pain relievers or prescription medicine without speaking with your doctor, though!.

I've also found that a hot paraffin wax bath both relieves the arthritis and brings down swelling!. Sometimes they are available at drug stores or beauty supply stores because people use them to soften dry skin as well!. The wax is reusable and lasts a long time!. Pick some with a pretty scent and it is like going to the spa!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hi,

Keeping my hand under (a little) hot running water helped a lot to ease the pain of my fingers!. I was also using 3 - 4 Motrin in a day!. But, they didn't give much relief!.

I have Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA)!. It started with stiffness and severe pain in my fingers!. I waited for 3 weeks to go to doctor thinking that the pains will go away with the help of Motrin!. My RA doctor prescribed me "Prednisone" to reduce the pain and some other medicines for inflammation!.

Did you went to the doctor!? What's your age!? What type of Arthritis do you have!?OA or RA!?

Take care of your health!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
