Shots at the doctor's office?!

Question: Shots at the doctor's office!?
I always got shots in the arm growing up, but my new doctor always gives them in the butt!. I didn't like it at first, but now I think it is a lot less painful and would rather get shots that way!.

How are your shots usually given!? What would you prefer/do you think one method is less painful!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
It has to do with the type of medication in the shot!. Some have to be shot into a large muscle like the upper butt, vaccines such as the flu shot or childhood vaccines do not and are generally given in the arm (or leg on toddlers and small children)Www@Answer-Health@Com
