Question: How painful is a nerve blocker in your spine,and are you awake!?
ive had 2 ops in a week 1 biopsy diagnosed with a bug where the disc was( that hurt )and 4 mri scans on my back,when will it stopWww@Answer-Health@Com

Yes you are awake!. Yes it is painful but less so if you are relaxed!. Ask your doctor to give you something to relax you before the injections!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes you are awake and relaxing will help you!. I don't know about your doctor but mine offers me a valium, just the same as they do when I get a MRI!. It's not the worse thing in the world but it is a little painful!. Here are a few links that may help you!.

Hi Colin, i had a nerve blocker via a CT Scan!. The scan shows them exactly where the needle is going so as to get it in the precise location!. They gave me a local and i felt no pain at all!. Previous to this they tried without a CT scan and they got it wrong!.!.!.!.!.the pain was unbearable! I had two MRI's one pre op the other post op, good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

my friend had nerve block (she has 4 dodgy discs in L-spine)
was v v painful, but she felt loads better after about 2 days - pain much reduced
