Why do I wake up with headaches in the morning?!

Question: Why do I wake up with headaches in the morning!?
At least once or twice a week, I wake up with a terrible headache!. Sometimes it lasts only 30 minutes, other times it might last for 4 or 5 hours, and OTC medicines don't seem to havea huge bearing on how long they last!. I've had this since high school!. I'm in college now and I might sleep in 3 or 4 different places in just a few weeks time (eg, my home, my dorm, a friends house or dorm, etc), and any one place doesn't seem to have any bearing on whether or not I wake up with a headache (I go to school several hours away from my own home, and some of my friends houses might also be 2 or 3 hours away)!. I don't drink alcohol of any kind, and I don't have much caffeine (I might have 2 coffees a week tops)!.

Is it normal for people to wake up with headaches!? I know that if you wake up during the wrong part of the sleep cycle you'll feel unrested, but could this cause headaches!? Thanks!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
It could be as simple as grinding your teeth in your sleep or needing a new pillow!. On the other hand a anerisim or other brian problem could be causing it!. You should really speak to your doctor!. Good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com

I usually wake up with a splitting headache if I did't get enough sleep and/or I didn't eat much the night before!.
The ONLY thing that works on my headaches is Excedrin!. I've tried Tylenol, Advil and the other "non-aspirin" things, but NOTHING works for me like Excedrin!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
