Question: Do i have tonsilitis!?!?how can i tell!?
basically my throat has been hurting for the last couple days, and when i looked to check in the mirror i noticed something very much like a canker sore off the the side of my tonsil!.!.!.
it looks and feel just like a canker sore!.!.!.but im not sure if thats what it is becuase ive never gotten it near my throat before!.!.!.
is it just a canker sore!.!.!. or can i tbe something else!?

Tonsillitis is characterized by red, swollen tonsils!. You may also notice white patches on the tonsils!. Other signs and symptoms of tonsillitis include:
>Severe sore throat
> Difficult or painful swallowing
>Headache
>Fever and chills
>Enlarged, tender glands in the jaw and neck
>Loss of voice
if you had this symptoms, maybe you had!.!.!.but if not it could be another !.!.!.!.
you could consult a physician for this!.!.!.
just rest and it could be gone in two or three days, don't forget to take your meds!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i dunno what a canker sore is but i know what tonsilitis is! I had tonsilitis about 7 times last year and 3 times this year! I ca always tell when i've got it coz My throat gets really sore and there's usually some white gunky stuff (i think its puss - eeewww) on or jus behind my tonsils!. then i go to the doc and have to have antibiotics for it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i got tonsillitus over ten times last year and finally got my tonsills out !
go to the doctors and get them to give u some antibiotics before it gets to to bad
