Question: Why do I get extremely sleepy 7-8 hrs!. after taking 60 mgs!. of morphine tablets!?
I take 60 mg of morphine (tablet) every morning!. I have energy about an hr!. later,and most of the pain is gone!. Then 7-8 hrs!. later, I'm told that I drop things or talk to myself while I'm half asleep watching TV!. Also I'm confused about why I am able to perspire when I'm active!? Isn't that more likely during withdrawal!? When I took opiates years ago, the only time you were able to perspire was during withdrawal!. I'm confused!Www@Answer-Health@Com

How is your diet!? I know opiates can lower your appetite and cause constipation!. Perhaps your blood sugar happens to drop around that time!. How often do you eat!? And what do you eat!? I would suggest foods high in fiber while on opiate agonist therapy!. Also stay away from junk food and drink plenty of fluids during the day!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
