After you had the surgery they should have told you to take a stool softener (pill) for a few days to keep your colon working and to prevent straining when you have bowel movements!. You can buy stool softeners over the counter at the pharmacy!. Just make sure to follow the directions on the package!. Also you should probably let your doctor know what is going on!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Not sure if anything is wrong but it is different than what they may be used to as a normal or daily routine!.
I imagine the intestines were cleaned out as well as the bowel so it may be free of matter and or bacteria which breaks down the matter!.!.!.So there is nothing coming out yet!.!.!.

not having a bowl movement in 4 days is not good!. You need to push gently on your stomach and if it's hard or painful you need to go to the hospital right away!. You could have a blockage!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
